Drawing inspiration from iconic Chesterfield sofas, Douglas is a diamond tufted pull out chair bed detailed with studs or in a buttonless design. Upholstered in premium fabric or velvet, it comes in hundreds of colours and patterns, all designed to suit any kind of home decor scheme, from traditional to contemporary living rooms.
A vintage inspired design, the tufting adds a stylish retro allure to any settings. Beautiful to look at, the Douglas convertible armchair turns into a comfy single bed in seconds. The Lampolet metal action mechanism folds out quickly and offers a range of mattresses that includes a premium pocket sprung model. The easy-open system doesn’t need you to remove any cushions, just pull the backrest to unfold the base and the 14 cm deep mattress.
Simply gorgeous in velvet, this snuggler also comes in fabric. The blind tufting is best for more traditional settings, while the metallic studs of the buttoned model will blend in effortlessly in modern and contemporary interiors.

For greater ease of delivery, assembly and reassembly in case of moving, our chair beds are all breakdownable in manageable parts.

Padding Seat: expanded polyurethane foam CMHR 35 Kg/m3 and needle-punched thermo-fixed fiber 200 and 300 g/m2 combined with Schedule 3 interliner and 2,5 mm. quilted interliner. Back: expanded polyurethane foam 25 Kg/m3 and needle-punched thermo-fixed fiber 200 and 300 g/m2 and 2,5 mm. quilted interliner. Armrests: expanded polyurethane foam 40 and 25 kg/m3, covered with Schedule 3 interliner combined with 200 g/m2 PL fibre. Frame: expanded polyurethane foam 40 kg/m3 covered with Schedule 3 interliner combined with 200 g/m2 PL fibre.
Quilted cover: bottom: 100% cotton fabric; padding: resinated polyester fiber “Valform” 300 gr/m2; top: Schedule 3 interliner
