With its streamlined, neat look, the Groove is a sleek flared arm 2-3 seater sofa bed without loose cushions, also available as a large snuggle chair. Our Lampolet metal action mechanism with wooden slats opens up quickly and easily, turning the couch into a comfortable single, large single, small double, double or king size bed. In a few seconds you’ll have a 14 cm thick 200 cm long mattress you can choose among sprung or foam made models. Plus, the inner frame is equipped with a convenient pillow storage to help you keep your guest room or living space neat and tidy.
The fixed seat has a waterfall type of upholstery, a seamless and almost minimalistic design outlined by a modern piping. The tight fit, foam padded, seat and back provide a supportive, firmer sitting than that of loose cushioned settees, although Groove boasts a special “Soft” padding for a luxurious comfort. The result is a modern, straightforward silhouette with clean lines. Gently flared English arms with a pleated detailing complete the look with an interesting vintage inspired touch.
Groove is a bespoke Italian sofa bed manufactured with premium materials and made in Italy mechanism and mattresses.
For greater ease of delivery, assembly and reassembly in case of moving, our sofa beds are all breakdownable in manageable parts.

Mattress standard (sofabed only): interior Bonnel springing made of a 2,20 mm Ø hardened steel; expanded polyurethane foam CM 27 Kg/m³; cover in 100% CO ecru FR treated fabric quilted with FR 100% PL 200 g/m² and non woven support; sides in 100% CO ecru FR treated fabric quilted with mm. 5 foam and non woven support; FR piping.
The mattress meets the requirement of BS 7177 : 2011 Specification for Resistance to ignition of Mattresses, Divans and Bed Bases for “Low Hazard”.
Frame:
Back: high resistance steel tube epoxy baked painted.
Armrests: solid fir, particle wood and poplar plywood.
Headboard: solid fir, multi-layer of poplar wood and hardboard. Front panel particle wood.
Padding:
Seat: expanded polyurethane foam 35+25 Kg/m³ ”Soft”, covered with needle-punched thermo-fixed fiber TL/S C 200 g/m² covered with Schedule 3 interliner and 2,5 mm. foam combined interliner.
Back: expanded polyurethane foam 25 kg/m³ covered with needle-punched thermo-fixed fiber TL/S C 300 g/m² covered with Schedule 3 interliner and 2,5 mm. foam combined interliner; inner cover in 2,5 mm. combined interliner.
Armrests: expanded polyurethane foam 40 and 25 kg/m³, covered with interliner combined with 200 g/m² PL fibre.
Headboard: expanded polyurethane foam 25 kg/m³ covered with interliner combined with 200 g/m² PL fibre.
Front panel: 2,5 mm. quilted interliner.
Fabric: all fabrics meet the requirements of Schedule 4, Part I, “The Cigarette Test” of The Furniture and Furnishing (Fire) (Safety) Regulations 1988 (as amended) S.I. 1324, using the BS 5852: Part 1: 1979, Methods of test for the ignitability by smokers’ materials of upholstered composites for seating.
We suggest not to sit on armrests.
