Samar

Compact and beautifully finished with a flanged slipcover, Samar is a space saving platform bed with valance and no headboard, available with or without storage. Single, double, king and super king size, the skirted frame is fitted with a premium beechwood slatted base built with plywood sprung slats. These will ensure proper support to the mattress, while keeping it in shape and well aerated. This is key for your well being and for correct mattress breathability and maintenance.
The loose, shabby looking valance is the perfect choice for those looking for a country style touch for their bedroom. The multiple sizes offered will make Samar a great addition for master bedrooms, kids’ rooms as well as guest rooms. The French style inverted seams which run along the bed frame slipcover give it an extra relaxed allure, bringing along a cozy, hygge atmosphere to informal spaces.
With aesthetics comes practicality. The Samar comes as an ottoman bed too, with a handy compartment underneath the bed base. This will lift up easily and effortlessly, with a gas strut mechanism that opens up at vertically an angle or horizontally above the frame. The horizontal option is a clever solution to access all parts of the storage and to change the bedding with no stressful stretches for your back.

For greater ease of delivery, assembly and reassembly in case of moving, our beds are all breakdownable in manageable parts.

Bed Base
Single or double row (starting from w.137 cm on) slatted base with beech plywood sprung slats. No box spring needed.

Regular platform beds:
- Standard base: sprung slats with metal frame

Ottoman beds:
- Standard Storage base: sprung slats with one-position lift up mechanism with gas struts
- Komodo Storage base: sprung slats with a two-position lift up mechanism with gas struts (it moves to a standard vertical position, then can move to a horizontal position, occupying +32 cm in length).
