Barbados

Barbados is an upholstered bed frame without headboard, a great space saving solution for small bedrooms. Available in fabric, leather and faux leather in an array of colours ranging from neutral to vibrant hues, earthy or pastel tones, as well as a selection of geometric patterns for modern, mid century or traditional interiors. It is fitted with high quality beechwood slats that will extend the life of your mattress by ensuring proper ventilation and hygiene.
This compact bed comes as a single, double, king and super king size, in a choice of dimensions and in various lengths that you can customize to suit your needs. With all these sizes available, Barbados will effortlessly fit into master bedrooms, guest rooms and kids’ bedrooms alike. Its slimline is the perfect choice for low-ceiling rooms and attic apartments, but can also be placed under a window.
To add extra practicality to a small room you can go for the ottoman bed, a handy ally when it comes to keeping the night area neat and tidy. It is equipped with a spacious storage space underneath the slatted base which lifts up easily thanks to built-in gas struts. The opening mechanism allows two positions to choose from: a standard vertical or an horizontal option. The second one makes the access to the back part of the bed frame and the change of the bedding a lot easier.

Barbados is a bespoke Italian upholstered platform bed manufactured with premium materials, luxury upholstery and made in Italy slatted bed bases.

For greater ease of delivery, assembly and reassembly in case of moving, our beds are all breakdownable in manageable parts.

Bed Base
Single or double row (starting from w.137 cm on) slatted base with beech plywood sprung slats. No box spring needed.

Regular platform beds:
- Standard base: sprung slats with metal frame

Ottoman beds:
- Standard Storage base: sprung slats with one-position lift up mechanism with gas struts
- Komodo Storage base: sprung slats with a two-position lift up mechanism with gas struts (it moves to a standard vertical position, then can move to a horizontal position, occupying +32 cm in length).

Bed Base Options
- double slat with tension adjusters: to adapt the firmness to specific areas

Single Bed Options
It is possible to join two single beds together to make a king size bed. In this case we recommend that you purchase the joining plates.
