An elegant addition for contemporary and transitional style bedrooms, Martinica is a platform or ottoman upholstered bed with a stylish diamond tufted headboard. The squares bedhead and frame are fully padded and covered with luxe fabrics, leathers or faux leathers in hundreds of colours and patterns. It comes as a single, double, king and super king size, all offered in multiple widths and lengths for you to be able to place the Martinica in small kids’ rooms as well as in larger master bedrooms. All models are fitted with a premium slatted base made of beech plywood: this will keep your mattress well aerated and in shape, making it more durable and healthier.
Focal point of the night area will be the beautifully detailed headboard and its grid design contained into a plain frame. Nodding to the past, to traditional Chesterfield beds and button tufting, it brings immediate visual interest to any interior.
For those who need extra storage space we made the Martinica ottoman bed. Choose it to get a large compartment for linens, towels, pillows or seasonal clothing. Accessing it is effortless thanks to the easy lift mechanism equipped with gas struts. There are two types of opening you can choose from: vertical with angled positioning of the base, and horizontal. This one allows easier access to all parts of the storage while making it easier to change the bedding.

Martinica is a bespoke Italian upholstered platform bed manufactured with premium materials, luxury upholstery and made in Italy slatted bed bases.

For greater ease of delivery, assembly and reassembly in case of moving, our beds are all breakdownable in manageable parts.

Bed Base
Single or double row (starting from w.137 cm on) slatted base with beech plywood sprung slats. No box spring needed.

Regular platform beds:
- Standard base: sprung slats with metal frame

Ottoman beds:
- Standard Storage base: sprung slats with one-position lift up mechanism with gas struts
- Komodo Storage base: sprung slats with a two-position lift up mechanism with gas struts (it moves to a standard vertical position, then can move to a horizontal position, occupying +32 cm in length).

Single Bed Options
