Details
Malibu is a modern upholstered slim bed frame with a minimalist plain headboard with a squared silhouette. It is available as a single, double, king and super king size. Its narrow padded frame and back sport a streamlined silhouette, simple clean lines that will bring a touch of modern elegance to your bedroom. Its sleek look is so versatile that it will be up to you to define its character through colour. A range of hundreds of fabrics, leathers and faux leathers will allow you to do so, offering a huge choice of neutral, earthy, pastel, bold hues and geometric patterns.
This compact bed combines aesthetic and function. Along with the platform version comes an ottoman bed with a convenient storage space accessible by simply lifting the slatted base. This is made of premium quality beechwood slats that are skilfully curved to support any type of mattress, ensuring a correct breathability and keeping it in shape. The lifting mechanism is equipped with gas struts and has two types of opening, a vertical one and a horizontal one that give easier access to the back of the compartment.
Malibu is a bespoke Italian upholstered platform bed manufactured with premium materials, luxury upholstery and made in Italy slatted bed bases.
For greater ease of delivery, assembly and reassembly in case of moving, our beds are all breakdownable in manageable parts.

Bed Base
Single or double row (starting from w.137 cm on) slatted base with beech plywood sprung slats. No box spring needed.
Regular platform beds:
- Standard base: sprung slats with metal frame
Ottoman beds:
- Standard Storage base: sprung slats with one-position lift up mechanism with gas struts
- Komodo Storage base: sprung slats with a two-position lift up mechanism with gas struts (it moves to a standard vertical position, then can move to a horizontal position, occupying +32 cm in length).

Single Bed Options

Komodo Slatted Base with Box: perimetral frame in mm 40x30x1,5 rectangular tubular bar with high resistance furniture tube, oven coated with epoxy powders. Orthopedic slatted base in beech plywood. Mechanism allowing to horizontally lift the slatted base. Once lifted and in an horizontal position the slatted base sticks out cm 32 from the bed structure.
Mattress: not included. Malibu bed can be completed with one of the mattresses available in our Mattresses section.
