Details
Vivien is a designer 2-3 seater sofa bed with curved back and bench style seat. Available in 4 sizes that convert to large single, double, king and super king size beds, it also comes as a convertible armchair with a single mattress. This is a sophisticated mid-century inspired sleeper sofa with a distinctive back and arm structure with a curved design that embraces the seat and low back cushions. Covers come in fabric, leather or faux leather in an array of colours for any style and preference.
Fitted with our Lampolet metal-action mechanism, the convertible contains a proper pull out bed with a sturdy frame and a premium mattress 14 cm deep and 200 cm long. The range of mattresses is designed to offer a welcoming resting nook where you or your guests can sleep comfortably. Easy to open and close, it simply requires you to pull the backrest towards you and then lower it to the floor, all in a few seconds and with minimum effort since the mechanism will do the job.
Vivien is a bespoke Italian sofa bed manufactured with premium materials and made in Italy mechanism and mattresses.
For greater ease of delivery, assembly and reassembly in case of moving, our sofa beds are all breakdownable in manageable parts.

Mechanism or structure: High resistance steel tube epoxy baked painted. Orthopedic bed with quality continental weld-mesh, fixed to the frame with springs. Comfortable seating made with webbing. Opening and closing operations with one single movement (sofabed only).
Mattress standard (sofa bed only): Interior Bonnel springing made of a 2,20 mm Ø hardened steel; expanded polyurethane foam CM 27 Kg/m3; cover in 100% CO ecru FR treated fabric quilted with FR 100% PL 200 g/m2 and non woven support; sides in 100% CO ecru FR treated fabric quilted with mm. 5 foam and non woven support; FR piping. The mattress meets the requirement of BS 7177 : 2011 Specification for Resistance to ignition of Mattresses, Divans and Bed Bases for “Low Hazard”.
Frame: solid fir and hardboard. Back: high resistance steel tube epoxy baked painted.
Padding: Seat: Expanded polyurethane foam 35 Kg/m3; needle-punched thermo-fixed fiber TLS/C 200 g/m2 covered with Schedule 3 interliner and 2,5 mm. foam combined interliner. Back: Expanded polyurethane foam 25 Kg/m3 M CM; needle-punched thermo-fixed fiber TLS/C 300 g/m2 covered with Schedule 3 interliner and 2,5 mm. foam combined interliner. Frame: Expanded polyurethane foam 40 Kg/m3 PCM, covered with needle-punched thermo-fixed fiber TLS/C 200 g/m2 combined with Schedule 3 interliner and 2,5 mm. foam combined interliner.

All fabrics meet the requirements of Schedule 4, Part I, “The Cigarette Test” of The Furniture and Furnishing (Fire) (Saety) Regulations 1988 (as amended) S.I. 1324, using the BS 5852: Part 1: 1979, Methods of test for the igniability by smokers’ materials of upholstered composites for seating.
We suggest not to sit on armrests and headboard.
