Drawing inspiration from Chesterfield sofas, Douglas is a contemporary diamond tufted fabric or faux leather armchair or snuggle chair beautifully detailed with studs or in a buttonless design. It comes in hundreds of colours and patterns that suit any home decor style, effortlessly blending in both in traditional and modern / contemporary living rooms.
Exuding a vintage charm, the tufting will add an elegant retro touch to your sitting area. Gorgeous in velvet, it also comes in fabric and faux leather. The buttonless “blind” tufting will work splendidly in more traditional settings, while the metal studs will be the perfect choice for modern and contemporary interiors. Douglas is a bespoke Italian armchair manufactured with premium materials and made in Italy mechanism and mattresses.
For greater ease of delivery, assembly and reassembly in case of moving, our chairs are all breakdownable in manageable parts.

Back: expanded polyurethane foam 25 Kg/m3 and needle-punched thermo-fixed fiber 200 and 300 g/m2 and 2,5 mm. quilted interliner. Armrests: expanded polyurethane foam 40 and 25 kg/m3, covered with Schedule 3 interliner combined with 200 g/m2 PL fibre. Quilted cover: bottom: 100% cotton fabric; padding: resinated polyester fiber “Valform” 300 gr/m2; top: Schedule 3 interliner

All fabrics meet the requirements of Schedule 4, Part I, “The Cigarette Test” of The Furniture and Furnishing (Fire) (Saety) Regulations 1988 (as amended) S.I. 1324, using the BS 5852: Part 1: 1979, Methods of test for the igniability by smokers’ materials of upholstered composites for seating.
