Lampo Gemellare is the ideal space-saving solution to obtain two separate beds packed into one 3-seater sofa. This 2-in-1 double sofa bed is fitted with two individual 14 cm thick mattresses, supported by two frames with their own mechanisms. This way you will be able to open only one bed or double your sleeping area if an extra guest pops by. Great for spare rooms or a holiday home where one or two additional places to crash on are always welcome. Plus, the split double bedding is the best option to give each guest their personal nook to snuggle on. The sofa comes in fabric, faux leather or leather in many different colours and patterns. Choose the armrest model that best suits your space and style.
The Lampolet fold out metal action mechanism opens up easily and effortlessly, just by pulling the backrest towards you and then lowering the bed base. The firm support of wood slats and the comfortable mattress available in foam or with pocket springs, will ensure a good night's sleep.

For greater ease of delivery, assembly and reassembly in case of moving, our sofa beds are all breakdownable in manageable parts.

Mattress

Mechanism (or frame for sofa without bed) High resistance steel tube epoxy baked painted. Orthopedic bed with quality continental weld-mesh, fixed to the frame with springs. Comfortable seating made with webbing or with polypropylene fabric (180 only). Opening and closing operations with one single movement (sofabed only).
Mattress (for bed only) Interior springing made of a 2,20 mm. diam. hardened steel; CM expanded polyurethane foam 27 Kg/m3; cover in 100% CO ecru FR treated fabric quilted with FR 100% PL 200 g/m2 and “barrier” non woven support; sides in 100% CO ecru FR treated fabric quilted with mm. 5 foam; piping. The mattress meets the requirement of BS 7177 : 1996 Specification for Resistance to ignition of Mattresses, Divans and Bed Bases for “Medium Hazard” (Crib 5).
Frame: Back: high resistance steel tube epoxy baked painted. Armrests: solid fir, particle wood and hardboard. Front panel (nonbearing): particle wood. Headboard: solid fir, particle wood and multilayer fir.
Padding: Seat: Expanded polyurethane foam 35 Kg/m3; needle-punched thermo-fixed fiber TL/S-C 200 gr/m2 combined with Schedule 3 interliner and 2,5 mm. foam combined interliner. Back: Expanded polyurethane foam 25 Kg/m3 M CM; needle-punched thermo-fixed fiber 300 gr/m2 covered with Schedule 3 interliner and 2,5 mm. foam combined interliner. Headboard and front panel: 10 mm. CM foam combined with Schedule 3 interliner and 2,5 mm. foam combined interliner. Armrests: Expanded polyurethane foam ELAST 65 Kg/m3 + 40 Kg/m3 PCM and 10 mm. CM foam combined with Schedule 3 interliner and 2,5 mm. foam combined interliner.
Fabric: Specifications: see sample attached. All fabrics meet the requirements of Schedule 4, Part I, “The Cigarette Test” of The Furniture and Furnishing (Fire) (Saety) Regulations 1988 (as amended) S.I. 1324, using the BS 5852: Part 1: 1979, Methods of test for the igniability by smokers’ materials of upholstered composites for seating.
We suggest not to sit on armrests.
