Details
Tommy is an armless chair bed with a removable slipcover available in fabric and faux leather in hundreds of colours and patterns. The loose cover conceals a single mattress made of a high density, crushproof polyurethane foam. Depending on the chair model you choose the bed comes in two sizes: a 80x190 cm or a 90x190 cm single sleeper for adults or kids.
The folding mechanism opens in a few seconds, all you need to do is to remove the slipcover and pull the sliding bed frame towards you. This is a compact, space saving solution for guest rooms, holiday homes or for your children to host sleepovers.
Tommy is a bespoke Italian chair convertible to bed manufactured with premium materials and made in Italy mechanism and mattresses.
For greater ease of delivery, assembly and reassembly in case of moving, our chair beds are all breakdownable in manageable parts.

Mechanism: High resistance steel tube – epoxy baked painting. Orthopedic bed with beech wood slats. Opening and closing operation in one single movement.
Mattress: Expanded polyurethane foam, CM 27 Kg/m3; covered on top with 100% CO quilted with resinated 100% PL fiber 200 g/m2 and non woven bottom with interliner. The mattress meets the requirement of BS 7177 : 1996 Specification for Resistance to ignition of Mattresses, Divans and Bed Bases – Low Hazard
Quilt: Bottom: 2,5 mm. foam combined interliner; Padding: 100% polyester resinated fiber “Valform” 100 gr/m2 + needle-punched thermo-fixed fiber TL/S-C 200 gr/m2 combined with Schedule 3 interliner. Dry clean only.
Fabric: Specifications: see sample attached. All fabrics meet the requirements of Schedule 4, Part I, “The Cigarette Test” of The Furniture and Furnishing (Fire) (Saety) Regulations 1988 (as amended) S.I. 1324, using the BS 5852: Part 1: 1979, Methods of test for the igniability by smokers’ materials of upholstered composites for seating.
