Rufus

Rufus is a modular sofa bed with a low bench seat, designed exclusively for Milano Bedding by Christophe Pillet, acclaimed French designer. Its versatile, modular structure is available as an armchair, and in 2 or 3-seater units, both fixed and convertible, and a spacious chaise-longue. Designed also to stand alone, Rufus is completely finished on all sides. This detail makes the sofa bed ideal as a division both in residential and professional environments, where it creates a contemporary relaxation zone.

Defined by bold proportions and refined geometry, Rufus combines generous volumes with an inviting, soft aesthetic. The substantial base, almost flush with the floor, is paired with deep seats filled with polyurethane foam, 36 cm wide armrests, and removable back cushions. These defining features enhance both the comfort and style of the modular sofa.

Conversion is both smooth and safe with a patented Lampolet mechanism, which ensures strength, durability and reliability over time. The sofa bed features a 10 cm thick, 200 cm long mattress. This can be selected in a small double, French double or standard double size.
