Kirk

Kirk is a minimalist sofa with a removable cover; the result of the exclusive collaboration between Milano Bedding and internationally renowned designer Karim Rashid. The high-end 3-seater sofa is available in two sizes, and is characterised by a long single seat cushion. The minimal design can be customised in a wealth of fabrics, leather, and faux leather covers, catering to the style of a modern living space.
Unveiled at the Salone del Mobile 2026, Kirk is among the newest additions to the upholstered furniture collection of the Brianza-based company. To develop this distinctive and futuristic lounge sofa, the brand collaborated with Egyptian designer Karim Rashid, renowned for his innovative approach to contemporary design. The project takes its name and inspiration from jazz musician Rahsaan Roland Kirk, whose extraordinary ability to blend technical mastery, creativity, and improvisation influenced the concept behind the sofa.
In the same way, Kirk blends high functionality with a refined and even playful aesthetic. Faithful to the sensual minimalism that defines the celebrated designer’s work, the sofa is distinguished by soft organic forms and flowing lines that avoid sharp edges and rigid geometries. The result is a piece that conveys both visual harmony and physical comfort, creating a welcoming atmosphere within the living space. Its design features a generous single seat, large movable back cushions, and a contrasting coloured profile that elegantly links the armrests and backrest, creating a continuous and refined outline.

For added practicality, the Kirk sofa is delivered disassembled to facilitate transport and features completely removable upholstery.

Upholstery
Kirk is available in fabric, faux leather, and leather in all the colours featured in the Milano Bedding sample collection.
The sofa has removable covers and can be cleaned according to the care instructions specified for each upholstery material.
