Drawing inspiration from traditional Chesterfield sofas, Douglas is a modern 2-3 seater diamond tufted sofa with back, seat and arms detailed with metal buttons, or buttonless. With its old-fashioned allure, the tufting adds an immediate sense of luxury to contemporary and traditional living rooms alike. Customizable in fabric in many colours, this chic settee will fulfill every whim of your interior decor scheme.
The diamond-patterned upholstery is simply perfect in velvet, while a fabric cover will give it an unexpected informal look. For a casual look go for the blind tufting, while the chrome or black metal buttons will suit a stylish setting.
Douglas is a bespoke Italian sofa manufactured with premium materials and made in Italy components.
For greater ease of delivery, assembly and reassembly in case of moving, our sofas are all breakdownable in manageable parts.

Frame Back: high resistance steel tube epoxy baked painted. Armrests: solid fir and poplar plywood. Headboard: particle wood and poplar plywood. Front panel (non-bearing) in particle wood.
Padding Seat: expanded polyurethane foam CMHR 35 Kg/m3 and needle-punched thermo-fixed fiber 200 and 300 g/m2 combined with Schedule 3 interliner and 2,5 mm. quilted interliner. Back: expanded polyurethane foam 25 Kg/m3 and needle-punched thermo-fixed fiber 200 and 300 g/m2 and 2,5 mm. quilted interliner. Armrests: expanded polyurethane foam 40 and 25 kg/m3, covered with Schedule 3 interliner combined with 200 g/m2 PL fibre. Frame: expanded polyurethane foam 40 kg/m3 covered with Schedule 3 interliner combined with 200 g/m2 PL fibre.
Quilted cover: bottom: 100% cotton fabric; padding: resinated polyester fiber “Valform” 300 gr/m2; top: Schedule 3 interliner

All fabrics meet the requirements of Schedule 4, Part I, “The Cigarette Test” of The Furniture and Furnishing (Fire) (Saety) Regulations 1988 (as amended) S.I. 1324, using the BS 5852: Part 1: 1979, Methods of test for the igniability by smokers’ materials of upholstered composites for seating.
